Howdy yall,
Welcome to our new food blog. We represent an intentional community in Santa Cruz started in 2003. We have no official name but have informally been known as the Laurel Manor, The Manor, Food Not Lawns. the PICA House, or just Ubertown. Our mission is to explore and experience living cooperatively through group stuff. One of our main themes is thinking about the food we grow, cook and eat. The intent of this blog is to show what we eat - among other things. We hope to show what seasonal organic foods can easily be cooked for a dozen people.

We also have a recipe web site. It is all vegan and anyone can post recipes to it. These recipes have been tried in our house. Please feel free to add yours as well to the recipeDB.
