How about some early June flowers in the garden pictures?
Well, its been a while since we gave a Thursday update so here it is… Our raspberries are poppin’ off and are oh so sweet. In other news, we got an ice cream maker! Ingredients in the above picture: coconut milk, agave nectar and vanilla. We are in search of a name for our icy creations. So far we have “Bliss Not Lawns” and “Bliss at the Manor”. If you have any more ideas, please leave a comment here. Then we can all vote on one.
Well, we have been slacking but the new greenhouse is coming together. Last year’s house was nice, but we didn’t use the best materials. The cat tore the outer plastic to shreds. But we kept some of the remaining pieces and are going to built a much better one. So today, we ate a big breakfast, planted a tree and got to working on the foundation… Look at our compost! Dont you want to just eat this stuff?!
Getting ready to put up the new green house, so we dug a new bed. The garden grows, the common space grass dwindles. If we dig any farther toward the house we are going to have to move the firepit. Woah dang.
Well nothing particular… Lots cover crops, kale and flowering mizuna strawberries, herbs, chard among other things
Today’s front yard harvest…
