Thursday update
Well, its been a while since we gave a Thursday update so here it is…
Our raspberries are poppin’ off and are oh so sweet.
In other news, we got an ice cream maker!
Ingredients in the above picture: coconut milk, agave nectar and vanilla.
We are in search of a name for our icy creations. So far we have “Bliss Not Lawns” and “Bliss at the Manor”. If you have any more ideas, please leave a comment here. Then we can all vote on one.
Well, we have been slacking but the new greenhouse is coming together. Last year’s house was nice, but we didn’t use the best materials. The cat tore the outer plastic to shreds. But we kept some of the remaining pieces and are going to built a much better one. So today, we ate a big breakfast, planted a tree and got to working on the foundation… Look at our compost! Dont you want to just eat this stuff?!
It was Ali’s birthday tonight, so folks went out to diner. However Jono did make coconut tapioca pudding and molta cioccolata tapioca for desert. And it was most certainly followed by a birthday pie to the old grill.
Its not a house wide event, but half of us are on the bandwagon. The juice pictured here is carrot, apple, kale, cabbage, ginger, and cayenne.

Last week the Laurel Manor and friends went to I Love Sushi for dinner and karaoke.
Since I could not decide to make bagels or English muffins last night, we did them both. So here were today’s English muffins.
